How worn and beautiful these are, Chris. I hope Health & Safety never gets to them!
Chris: Just imagine if they did!
The much loved stairs to the chapter house at Wells. Famously photographed by Frederick Evans in 1903 as a sea of steps.
Chris: That is correct

It's a gorgeous image, Chris.
Chris: Thank you Pauline, maybe you know the place yourself?
Oh, great shot, Chris, is that the actual colour? The lady fits in so well too.
Chris: Toned in sepia Frank, the lady was my accomplice on the day

A lovely picture
Chris: Thank you Anne. Wells Cathedral: I expect you've been there
Fine composition, and a good choice for sepia...
Chris: I am obliged to you Larry
This is a very fine shot Chris, if only the person were a monk or clergy in cassock. I've looked at the picture to which Bill refers, I actually prefer yours, it works better in the landscape format IMHO.
Chris: Great praise indeed: thank you Brian

A very agreeable image. Those steps have seen some wear over the years. Is this in Wells (Vicar Close?)?
Chris: Inside the Cathedral leading up to the chapter house
Nice treatment, Chris.
Chris: Thank you Tom, you never know when a bucket of sepia might come in handy
I think this is a really wonderful image Chris!!
Chris: Thank you kindly Elizabeth
