Some would say this is intellectually inspirational with an amazing philosophical uncurrent. Well some would ... er wouldn't they

Chris Phillips: Well if you mean is there a point to all of this Richard - I can assure you there is. It may not be much of a point but it is a point none the less
*sigh*..impressive, tears in my eyes, that DOF, the focus, the aperture, the shutter-speed, the perspective, the composition, I see it took you many many hours to work on this one..BTW where can I buy tickets for the LA-LA-LAND....... @Chad....please BLACK koffie for me en appeltaart met slagroom....and yes we have a SIT-DOWN.....
Chris Phillips: Good - I'm glad you understand where we've come from - and more importantly where we're going Astrid. All in the fullness of time - this site will burgeon with new revelations
Chris, let me add to your knowledge. Did you know that once upon a time, like in the 1950s and 60s, GREY was the colour that girls were advised to wear for job interviews because it made them look business like. If a girl could wear a grey suit and white blouse. with black court shoes and handbag, she felt fairly confident that the job would be hers. I don't think girls care much anymore - they seem to wear jeans for every occasion.
Chris Phillips: Well this is turning out to be an exercise on the learning curve for me Sheila - thank you
I feel like I have just entered a room where everyone is talking the same language, apart from me! I have no idea what an ontbijt is but I know it's definitely Dutch! This reminds me of a colour by Farrow and Ball, called Mouse's Back. Ingrid
Chris Phillips: Not at all Ingrid: incidentally - you didn't work in the paint trade with Bill do you?
