On my way home from the vicarage this morning I stopped to photograph this vista of the northern slopes of Bath.

The field usually contains sheep: but on this occasion they seemed to be curiously & rather disturbingly absent.

Oh dear...

Bath is one of those places I would definitely go back to see again if I ever get the chance. What a lovely city!

They had all wandered off blindly, having had their eyes removed to repair that damned road of you know who's. Great view of Bath Sir Tiff and the light makes the buildings sparkle

Sometimes my not so good English knowledge can make looking at picture more fun...I first thought the deer was the reason for why there was no sheep around...but I can't see no deer.....oh deer!

I like the light and sky here. Never been to Bath but my wife says it is a very nice place - she still talks about a "funny walk - tour - through Bath" that was an experience of a lifetime....

Has Chad arrived yet, he is bringing his friend with him, I hope they will help you with this beautiful sky to roll and put it back where you found it, the beautiful houses go to the left in the shed, oh and the sheep are just around the corner in the same spot where the wishing well is, hope you can find it some time today when Chad has gone.
Great view here Chris, it is always a pleasure to see these kind of pictures, I just keep seeing so many new things, thanks for sharing.

I'm feeling very homesick for Bath right now - although I don't live there, it is my second home. This is a view of northern Bath that I'm not familiar with. I'm trying to work out where Mike's flat could be!

Chris Phillips: This was taken on the A36 heading out of Bath towards Bathampton. The church is in Larkhall & the land rising on the left goes to Beacon Hill - where I lived for my first 27 years. I think Chad said Mike's flat is in Lansdown Crescent: if so that is half a mile off to the left of this shot

Lovely view and great shot. Beautiful sky and landscape. To bad about the sheep, I think they would have been a great addition to this picture. Still a great composition.

I've spent so many happy times in Bath, and love the place to pieces (except for the lack of parking spaces!)

It's actually holiday season for the sheep, who all fly by EasyJet to the Costa's for a cheap break. Ba-aah--argain!
