This is the charming village of Salcombe Regis in Devon. I have often enjoyed koffie & crumpets with my singing coach Mrs Matthews here in this discreet little hideaway...

It is very satisfying to find a civilised little corner of the world like this - where people ask few if any questions.

They don't ask questions much in Devon. Mostly it takes twenty years or so before they say good morning.

This churchyard could be a fascinating place to walk around. I bet some of those stones could be hundreds of years old, and with time to look you could probably follow family histories here. Lovely.
