Oh, this is a wonderful observation and image! I remember a similar scene in Bath Abbey.
Chris: I am obliged to you Philine, this is a familiar scene every Sunday
Delightful, Chris. This would have a different story from everyone seeing it. smile
Chris: Yes I think you are right Ginnie: thank you

Off to the pub probably. Looks like the bouncers are getting ready to throw out the congregation.
Chris: Well quite right too, can't have 'em hanging around making the place look untidy..
The clerical equivalent of "I'm taking my ball and going home" ?
Chris: It looks just like that scenario
There is something rather dreary yet appealing about wet flagstones and stone walls Tiff.
Chris: The reason, or rather one of them, as to why I kept this image is the reflections of the clerical persons on the flagstones Chad
The damp reflectioin is perfect here. Wouldn't be nearly as interesting in dry weather.
Chris: I wouldn't have shot this in the dry for the reasons you suggest

This is lovely in B&W.
Chris: Makes all the difference, doesn't it Anne
Good timing Chris, I like the B.& W.presentation.
Chris: Thank you kindly Brian
And one of them, imposter, no doubt, is making off with a bit of the regalia!
Chris: Yes - and who would question this?
Why the rush?
