In time I found I knew everything there is to know about all animals and fishes - and squiggly little things that you can put in a jampot and frighten old people with. I therefore determined without delay to count all the trees in the world, especially big ones. Then I thought why start with the big ones - why not the very big ones!  There was no limit to by burgeoning ambitions.

By now the world was my veritable lobster!

OK, so come on, tell me, how do they know the tree is 2000 years old? Is there a formula somewhere, they can't count the rings because the centre will likely be hollow.

We'll have to discuss the ley lines another time!
