ADDITIONAL AMUSEMENTS WITH VEGETABLES
Because I had a carrot whos bent shape had provided so much mirth at my monthly talk to the Mothers' Union I thought it only fair to share this instrument of unbridled laughter with others. I was of the strong opinion that when I arrived at any gathering holding this very funny vegetable I would be immediately become the toast of the town.

Bitter and twisted
Chris Phillips: Probably more misshapen & orange Vintage
You look like you can barely contain your mirth!
Chris Phillips: I am splitting my sides Martin
I never realised a bent ''thingy'' could bring so much pleasure to mums belonging to the Mothers' Union.
richard
Chris Phillips: Oh yes!
Haven't seen you with a vegetable for a while. It's no use trying to find it on that wallchart though.
Chris Phillips: Laughing at vegetables is a wonderful hobby Ian
Nice poster of ducks Chris......do they get feed with the carrots.
Have a nice weekend.
Chris Phillips: I keep the duck poster so that when I lead birdwatching walks I have at least half an idea about what is what Astrid
Mmmm.
Chris Phillips: Ahhh - I can tell you are speechless with admiration Bill!
Mirth or amazement Chris? You seem being just between the two!
Chris Phillips: Hovering Richard
I got distracted by all the nice wall charts. Looks like some giant orange slug, but the look on your face is priceless.
Chris Phillips: Oh you're too kind Aussie. Don't forget to pop in when you're next in the UK
It does look like a slug! This image just cracks me up! it's priceless.
Chris Phillips: Oh thank you Scarlet: you have made my day a very happy one by saying this
Those ladies at the Mothers' Union obviously have a sense of humour. Perhaps next time you should do a slideshow of your most recent pics!
Ingrid
Chris Phillips: I was thinking of showing them the pictures I took when You-Know-Who & I were in the south of France last summer
wow - your mother's clubs must have way more fun in the UK than here in the states.
but then again, you are the land of ladies auxiliary clubs selling calendars of naked middle aged women...
Chris Phillips: I shall be photographing them naked next week and selling the calendars to finance the church roof repair fund.
LOL at Aussie "Looks like some giant oranje slug" I mean, Are you goimg to stand for that talk?
Chris Phillips: Well I PRESUME they eat carrots in Australia. Maybe they dine on slugs: I do not know!
mmmmm thats very odd looking. I'm a bit lost for words. I like the wall charts in your study.
Chris Phillips: It is odd looking Scotia: I agree. The wallcharts are a vain effort to learn something useful when blankly gazing at the wall
Well, I'm fairly speechless too - with shock? horror? laughter? You decide. So being speechless, I'll just say aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Chris Phillips: Thank you Sheila: I think you are fairly something - but you do not know what
You are definitely the toast of the town, Chris. Hands down!
Chris Phillips: Well that's very kind of you Ginnie. I hope you have been doing SENSIBLE things with Astrid
lol back to your best with this Chris, have a great weekend ........tim
Chris Phillips: Thank you Tim. I am actually off from work this weekend so I'm keeping everything crossed for SUNNY WEATHER!
That is a lovely carrot, Chris!
Chris Phillips: I just KNEW you would appreciate it Helen - thank you
Speechless...yes.
Chris Phillips: All I can say top you is -

Chris Phillips: There is no place for levity on my site
Thought I'd boost your ratings
Chris Phillips: This is like achieving the Mile High Club for the first time!
Hope you had a good break...go anywhere nice?
Chris Phillips: Actually we went to Devon Bill: a farm b&b down a hidden valley near Seaton. The weather was absolutely wonderful - for once!
