Jolie scène de gare.
Chris: Back to the steam age of my youth Martine
I thought they were modernising ?
Chris: Preserved railway at Swanage Frank
Great capture - many stories...
Chris: And puns Elizabeth..
Can beat that scene on a sunny day, Chris.
Chris: Well not here you can't Ginnie, the seafront is just down the road..

"in case they don't know what is wrong with the locomotive, down there is a taxi waiting".....
I love these old locomotives, Chris. was this a special occasion and did you go "on board"?
Chris: This is a private railway to Swanage, a sea resort where this picture was taken. I took Ray there, and one day I will take you too!
Toujours des questions quand on est sur le quai
d'une gare !
Chris: Yes indeed. Which way to go now?

A lovely railway and a lovely town. I hope the lady is not indicating the direction to the beach. One of the loco crew is stopping the loco from falling over.
Chris: It would be a terrible thing if that lovely thing were to end up on its side
It is a delightful little line.

Don Lang and his frantic five....happy days grin
Chris: Takes you back, doesn't it..

Do you know if this line is going to be extended, Chris?
Chris: The only way now is into the sea Lisl! The line is 100% complete..

To think I probably travelled on a train like this as a child Tiff, it’s enough to make one feel old.
Chris: You're not old Chad.

Merely ancient..
are they telling you where to get off?
Chris: Lots of people have done that thing over the years..

A busy platform - takes me back a month, when I was travelling all over by train.
Chris: Well lucky you Louis
another slice of life capture.

so many conversations on the platform

what might they all be talking about.

Still jealous that you, Elizabeth, Frank, Chad and Bill can post more than one photo on Shutterchance and I currently can not or have not learned how to.

Perhaps it is an added bonus if you have a PAID membership
Chris: I do not know about that Alan
Some lucky person has been to Swanage again. that video takes me back almost to my childhood, I don't even recall some of the artists listed there.
Chris: I remember that show very well
there is a lot to see in this photo Chris... i love refurbished English green locomotives....petersmile
Chris: Lovely aren't they: thank you Peter
