I am glad that you noticed this (hard-to-tell-if-this-is-a) spoon, Chris. I love the shape of it and I love silver in general.
Now you've done it.... now I have to look under my bed each night if there are no spoons running around wink....
Chris: Oh I expect there might be a spoon Olympics happening under there Astrid. Let them just get on with it..

Still gorgeous, Chris. It looks as if it has been dug up
Chris: Yes indeed Lisl, but it is new
Private Eye has a regular feature Me and my spoon
Chris: I did not know that. In any case this is a cross between a leafy vegetable and a spoon

Oh, it’s it’s a spoon apparently. I thought it was an ancient thing that rock climbers use to jam into fissures to hang their ropes from... crocs or something?
Chris: Hang their crocodiles from? Well I guess this would do admirably for that purpose

I like the spoon in the window Tiff but wouldn’t washing it up be a chore. I like the Public Information Film.
Chris: Public information films can be a thing of retrospective joy Chad

This spoon might have had a hardy life for ages.
Chris: It is hardly a practical object Philine
How strange, whatever could you use this for?
Chris: Nothing I can think of..
Looks to be real silver, Chris, but I wouldn't bring that anywhere near the food I was about to consume.
Chris: Nor me Bev..
it is strange art to be sure Chris....petersmile
Chris: It certainly is just that Peter..
