photoblog image MOOSE HEAD SOUP

  • 1 moose head. 1/2 cup dried vegetables. ...
  • Skin the head and whack all the meat off of it. Dice this up into little pieces, cover with water, and boil for two hours. ...
  • To get the rest of the meat off the head so you can use the skull in interior decoration, put it on your roof for several months.

.......... and smile........
I might say that 1/2 cup dried vegetables will not be found back in the soup. I think the moose will eat that all in one bite.
I will bring my spoon in September.
Chris: I might have some for breakfast, if Ratty hasn't eaten it all..
Well that's creepy.... And where would an Englishman get a moose?
Chris: You're quite right..

Thank you for the recipe and the useful tip. I will be looking for moose on today's walk around north east Hampshire. I trust this moose's head in now mounted in the Great Hall at your country estate?
Chris: Yes it is

Not EAST HAMPSHIRE!! I implore you to protect yourself from VAMPIRES in this haunted land..
I have now gone vegeterian, ,made a lovely spicey veg soup the other day.
Chris: Wot no more moose-head soup!
some specialized skills are need for this recipe, such as whacking, Chris.
Chris: I can't argue with that Ayush
I think I would rather have oxtail soup
Chris: That's a bit SAFE, isn't it?

WRONG ... you need to boil it for two weeks
Chris: Now there speaks the voice of an expert. I had momentarily forgotten that Halesworth is the Moose-head soup mecca of the western world..
If serving many people add two rabbits.
Be certain you really need it as few people like hare in their soup.
