I really like that!
Chris: I saw this tea towel in a shop in Bath Elizabeth, it depicts the lighthouse at Southwold. The Stooges went there with their host Richard Trim

Somebody was very creative and inventive, Chris. I like the drawing.
Chris: It's Southwold Astrid, we went there with Trimmy a year or two ago. You'd love it!

I like the drawing, too - and I love the chanson!

La mer
Qu’on voit danser le long des golfes clairs
A des reflets d’argent
La mer
Des reflets changeants
Sous la pluie
...
Chris: I remember the song from childhood Philine. The design on the cloth is the lighthouse at Southwold

A well-used kerchief...the sea does things to ones nostrils...
Chris: Oh the sea can do things to nostrils, and everything else Ole Sport!
Ah, yes. The lure of the sea, indeed. I must "go down" again! Soon.
Chris: Now that the weather has gone into spring mode I shall be there myself soon Ginnie
Un titre évocateur bravo !!
Chris: Thank you Claudine. I love this song

Is this Weymouth Tiff? That song is very pleasing and conjures up relaxed and happy days.
Chris: The lighthouse at Southwold Chad. Middle class haven.

Trimilino took us there..
I used that video recently

Now this looks to be in County Trim - Southwold. Imagine living there when the foghorn is going at night.
Chris: Just like living with a wife and mother in law..
I knew where this is without even reading anything other than the title, that corner of Southwold is really interesting. I haven't heard that song for many years, it takes me back to my childhood.
Chris: Both Southwold and the song are unforgettable

Too pretty to use as a tea towel!
Chris: It certainly could be displayed on a wall
Too cheap to get it framed? smile
Chris: Oh yes Tom..
