What a warm delight!
Chris: It sure was, it was ice cream time and enjoying the steam railway and seaside attractions time too..
That smoke is really something!
Chris: Getting away and up the grade Larry, stirring stuff!
It does look like a lovely sunny day!
Chris: It was beautiful around the coast yesterday but Bath stayed mired in gloom. Hence my escape..

Jolie locomotive.
Chris: I love them, they have personality
This is a lovely little railway. We had unremitting grey gloom and rain yesterday
Chris: Bath did too. This is an inspired escape

Now there's a splendid sight! I was surprised to see the train being double-heard as I thought the the Swanage Railway were struggling for locomotives.

If you want sunny weather, you should move from the north to the balmy south coast.
Chris: The railway seems to be ok regarding locos, which is a good thing.

I'd love to live on this coast..

All our yesterdays Tiff.. is this Dawlish?
Chris: As my title suggests Chad - SWANAGE
Sunny? You must been at the only sunny place in the UK. Almost a picture from yesteryear. Great capture with 2 engines.
Chris: I escaped Bath yesterday with the promise (haha) of sun on the south coast - and my gamble paid off!

a double- headed train - your heart might have jumped up to see these railways. Fine that you escaped to the south- coast - we had wonderful, sunny weather, too.
Chris: I was in my element Philine, a state of bliss..
Oooh. The sun will soon be blotted out by coal smoke.
Chris: I LOVE the smell of smoke & steam..
You lucky man, not just sunshine but Swanage as well, and the railway to go with it. As much as Maureen and I love Swanage we are feeling it is a bit too far for Maureen to drive amymore, it is roundabout 200 miles from our place.
Chris: Yes that is unfortunate Brian
Oooh, a double header! Super shot, Chris.
Chris: Southern glory Frank, memories for me of childhood
Beautiful framing, and it seems nice to see some locomotives still in operation.
