They do not seem very enthusiastic about this, Chris!

Makes a fine street image, though.
Chris: The dogs are giving each other the cold shoulder
Un des chiens n'a pas l'air ravi de rencontrer l'autre.
Chris: They certainly do not seem to like each other
Great capture, Chris! Bownie doesn't look very happy!
Chris: This is what amused me Elizabeth
Ray said it for me, Chris.
Chris: Thanks Frank. He said what I was thinking too..

Oh, the typically English bulldogs! A very nice scene! (First I thought the lady is from Glasto, but we are in Bath, the neighbour town of Glasto).
Chris: I have a feeling these are French Bulldogs Philine

Yes this is Bath
Oh me, oh my. I suppose the "circus" is always in town! Oh, and the dogs are a story unto themselves. smile
Chris: I think the dogs are snubbing each other Ginnie

Having a dog can be a very social thing..... however the picture proves that not all dogs like each other and that being 'kind' cannot be forced (this is also a rule for us humans)
Great street scene though smile
Chris: Well I suppose dogs are a bit like ourselves Astrid, they don't always get along with their own kind
Un rencontre pas vraiment voulue? Sourires !
Belle scène de vie
Chris: I do not think these dogs really like each other..
I think they have just eaten some Lovett pies.

I am very sure that the shaggy perm lady likes herself an awful lot.
Chris: Wrong - she likes the photographer an awful lot

Get a grip man!

They say that dogs often look like their owners but that's not the case her. I would not like to try to pick up the fatter dog. I wonder if it;s one oft he pie testers? Do you know that if you want to buy a pie from Lovett's shop on a Tuesday you have to do it between 12pm and 3pm?
Chris: You have told me something I did not know. Imagine queueing outside their shop at 9am, dribbling with saliva..

Bulldogs always remind me of Sir Winston Churchill.
Chris: Traditionally he was seen in cartoons thus Louis
they are unhappy the pies ran out, Chris.
Chris: Hahaha - yes Ayush!
Aren't they gorgeous, and I mean the dogs not the people.
Chris: I think these are French Bulldogs Brian. I did ask the lady at the time
Poor devils can probably hardly breathe
Chris: Over-breeding can be a dreadful thing.

The superior look, and the couldn't care less!
Chris: Yes indeed Anne, just like people..
No friendly kisses here. Cats are better.
Chris: Certainly they are Mary
Reluctant dogs... and I spot a reference to Sweeney Todd. smile
Chris: The demon barber!!
Not an immediate friendship by the looks of things!
Chris: Not in this instance Tom
bull dogs never to get too exited Chris... good street shot....petersmile
Chris: Thank you kindly Peter
The one on the left looks well acquainted with Lovett's Pies
Chris: I am sure they're delicious Martin
It is said that dogs resemble the owners, I think you have made the idea, smile
