DRAINED

hopefully the weekend around the corner will bring the opportunity to replenish, Chris.
Chris: They drained it to replace the lock gates Ayush
I'm afraid it all looks a bit of a muddy mess... smile
Chris: Without water it certainly does but the rotten lock gates had to be replaced

I thought there would be enough water in England owing to the rain.
Chris: There is Philine. They have drained this part of the canal in Bath to replace the old lock gates
A rare sight. When they were building the canal here there were lots of pictures of the work. It is quite a task even with modern equipment
Chris: It amazes me that all this sort of thing was done by hand

Someone pulled the plug Tiff. Looking at those railings, I’m not too sure that I would gladly lean on them. I work on the theory that everything breaks eventually.
Chris: Your theory is cast iron Chad

Someone has pulled out the plug. It looks like some maintenance on the lock. I wonder what treaters have been revealed on the canal bed; plenty of handles for the lock paddles I should think. probably the odd bike and supermarket trolley, too!
Chris: A eclectic pick 'n' mix of rubbish, just like my blog..

It looks a bit sorry for itself
Chris: Everything is now fixed and working well Anne
So am I.
Chris: Oh noes!
How many shopping trolleys did they find
Chris: That is a pertinent question in these days of recycling
