People will buy anything! smile
Chris: Oh absolutely. You only have to experience the VAST Christmas Market in Bath to see that..
The economy depends on people buying crazy gifts... smile
Chris: If that is the case then we have no need to fear for the future in the UK Larry..

You have a real talent to find strange, crazy things! I see chocolates below the flamingos.
Chris: Maybe if I come back in another life I will be blessed with a USEFUL talent Philine.

In the meanwhile..
Things like this make anything that would be considered ok to be brilliant
Chris: When lit these will be brilliant

hmmmmmmmm..... let me talk to Ginnie, I might go for the 'flamingo' theme this year.... I know for sure she will call the guys with the white jackets trying to get me into one with the zipper on the back.....
I do know this flaming-family will be sold......
Chris: I would not want these in my own household Astrid..
They say no one ever went bust underestimating the public's taste
Chris: Public taste is a thing of wonder to me..

I wonder how many of these they sell? I expect that on the rear is a price tag which says "10s 6p" or similar. Did you consider these perhaps for a feature in one of the peasant's cottages on your estate?
Chris: Even my peasants would revolt!
Thinking of that big birthday coming up?
Chris: Err...no Mary
you find the strangest things Chris... don't stopsmile....petersmile
Chris: Thank you Peter. I won't!

Chris among architects and designers the PINK FLAMINGO is often used to represent bad, cheap, tacky design.
