A strangely beautiful scene here, Chris.
Chris: This is the beach at Beer, caught when the population and trippers were elsewhere. I am going there today as it happens..
Sympa toutes ces chaises alignées au bord de la mer.
Chris: Before the arrival of the crowds

You might have been on a high point - I wonder about the empty deck-chairs- here is high season and there are crowds of holidayers.

I knew that we are in Beer, your favourite sea resort!
Chris: A charming place Philine, unspoiled by the modern world

I'm hoping that the chairs closest to the sea have been placed above the high water mark. I see that you are visiting there again today. I trust your manservant has arranged for your bathing machine to be readied? Also is it really wise to be travelling when the GU when off on their trips?
Chris: I shall not be bathing in waters associated by the GU, my man servant would not let me do so..

A brave man to visit in August, Chris. I like this very very much
Chris: Collecting a chum from a caravan holiday lisl
They would be filled now. Amazing to capture the all empty scene.

Are you shooting from a hot air balloon?
Very interesting perspective!
Chris: From high up on the promenade Bonnie, a long was above the beach
I hope you had a better days weather at Beer today than we've had, our plan was to visit the large classic bike race meeting at Donnington Park, just 10 minutes from us, but our weather persueded us otherwise, a shame for all those involved though.
Chris: What a pity for all concerned Brian. It was largely sunny in Devon today..
August then?
Chris: Probably not..

I knew this was Beer from the thumb ... lovely place
Chris: A middle class resort where you would be made most welcome
You don't have to struggle to find a spot!
Chris: On that day you certainly didn't Tom
I really like this, Chris - Something about all the blue and white chairs, next to the blue water... all just waiting for the people.
