This is very neat, tidy and tasteful, Chris.
Chris: It is, isn't it Ray. This is right in the centre of Bath and is a tribute to some poor soul who seems to have expired close by
Very touching
Chris: And surprising too Ellie. Who the person was and the details of their passing I never discovered

Aaahhh... that's very sweet. I'm thinking its a tribute to young girl perhaps?
Chris: Yes indeed it could be, I have no details
Une bien jolie composition
Merci
Chris: Thank you Claudine
Which should buy one of those inflatable thingies to give to Alan on his birthday.
Chris: What!!
Someone was loved.
Chris: Yes it seems they were
This sort of thing is becoming more common these days.
Chris: Perhaps as a nation we are becoming more sentimental

Whoever it was meant a lot to a lot of people.
Chris: Very much so Anne from the look of things
It's a curious practice, isn't it? I think I first saw anything of the kind in the 1960s in France and not seen in the UK until, perhaps, the 80s?
Chris: Te nation has changed a lot Tom, since Diana died very much so..
I bet florists love this trend
Chris: Yes I'll bet they do..
Someone was loved, Chris, its all we can ask...
Chris: Yes indeed Frank
