I hope that the donkey likes all this attention. I assume we are here at a 'rest home' for old donkeys (I mean the animals here), not the people which are in the picture)
Chris: This is a favourite place of mine Astrid, the donkey sanctuary in Devon

Jolie scène. J'aime les ânes.
Chris: Donkeys and people are usually very happy together Martine
Awwww. I suppose even donkeys want to be needed?
Chris: Very much so Ginnie, there are hundreds of them here in the Sidmouth donkey sanctuary, all enjoying a happy retirement

Animals can be great help to people with needs different to those people who are fully abled, The donkeys are such fine creatures and I hope they got as much pleasure from their interaction as the humans did.
Chris: I think they do that very thing Alan
Well it can't do any harm, can it? T
Chris: Not at all Chad
The therapeutic effects of donkeys is remarkable
Chris: Says something about humans doesn't it..

Most events would be the better for the presence of a donkey or two...
Chris: This makes common sense
No doubt they do a power of good!
Chris: They certainly do just that Tom
Glad I read the comments. All fine and dandy but I had assumed that it was in the streets of Bath.
Chris: No not in Bath Mary
this is most unusual to me, Chris. i have barely seen donkeys ever and to think there is a donkey therapy place.
Chris: This is a retirement place for donkeys Ayush - there are hundreds of them - and some, like this pair, are safe enough to be used for this sort of thing
