photoblog image ANOTHER SUMMER

ANOTHER SUMMER

It's that time of year again when Ratty Xll gets taken out of the house once more to smell the Turk's Head Lillies.

Family tradition.

No known reason why we do it..

Il a l'air d'être bien curieux.
Chris: The one outdoor trip of the year..
Awwww. What a sweet tradition. This is when my daughter would say "You should do this more often."
Chris: Next July then Ginnie

I am so glad that Ratty XII shows its appreciation to the Turk's Head Lillie and I hope that Jackie told Ratty that when you smell the Lillie it will give you gold at the end of the rainbow... traditions should be kept. I watched Wimbledon for two weeks.... that is one big tradition and I love it smile
This is a wonderful family picture.
Chris: Thank you Astrid. I thought you would be glued to the television set over Wimbledon

Well, Ratty must know, as she is behaving just as she should with nose a-quiver in the bloom. She is very pretty
Chris: She puts her good looks down to being on a diet of, well just about everything Lisl!

A wonderful family tradition - and a lovely image - Ratty really appreciates this beautiful flower! Jackie is protecting her eyes - good so!
Chris: We cannot remember how this tradition started Philine, it was so long ago..

Its lucky that Ratty XII has come out of the sofa in time for such a tradition. She seems to enjoy the Turk's Head lollies. I assume that is the name of the illy rather then being lillies in the garden of the Turk's Head pub.
Chris: The only Turk's Head pub I remember is on the isle of St Agnes on the Isles of Scilly
Madness springs to mind but you are harmless so it doesn't really matter
Chris: I am merely an innocent photographer with no pretentions to sanity..
Une tradition bien originale et très belle ..merci pour ce partage
Chris: A pleasure Claudine

My wife will go into some kind of a failure if this happens to her. The recent appearance of a mouse in the house, required me to be build a fort of traps and bait stations around the house.
Chris: Well I hope your family home remains forever rodent free Louis
You must be very confident the latest version of Ratty isn't going to make a run for it.
Chris: She would have no concept of escape Brian

A good pic of your two companions, Chris.
Chris: Thank you Penny. I think you should reciprocate
Your turk's head lilies are a beautiful colour and Ratty XII is a stunner. S/he has a heart on his/her back. Cats love to smell flowers too.
Chris: Cats like to smell rats too..
